TAURANGA’S PROTEST AT AUSSIE GAME VENUE

Recently the Tauranga Rugby Sub-Union wrote to the Bay of Plenty Union protesting against the proposed change in the venue of the Australia v Bay of Plenty game from Tauranga to Whakatane, says the Bay of Plenty Times. The sub-union had advised that should the union executive not adhere to the game being allotted to Tauranga—it is set for August 20— it would approach the New Zealand Rugby Union on the question.
