IYZ Heard Well In Pacific

A listener at Ba, Fiji, has written to station IYZ, Bay of Plenty, stating that he received IYZ with more strength and clarity than he does any other New Zealand or Australian station.

As well as about 12 acknowledgments from Fiji, checks have come in from Nauru, Tarawa (in the Gilbert Group), and as far north as Canton Island.

All report excellent and steady reception, some listeners claiming IYZ to be clearer than 2YA, which is 60 k.w. strength, compared with 10 k.w.
