It is proposed, under provisions of Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a quarry—and for purposes of such public work the land described in First Schedule hereto and an easement over the land described in Second Schedule hereto, vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way with the right for His Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time tp time, and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles, over land described in Second Schedule hereto, and to maintain, repair, and keep open said right-of-way for purpose of providing access to land described in First Schedule hereto, such_ easement to be held appurtenant to land described in First Schedule hereto, are required to be taken. Plan of land so required and of land in respect of which the easement is so required to be taken is deposited in post-office at Awakeri and is there open for inspection. All persons affected by the execution of said public work or by taking said land or taking of said easement over land; should, if they have any wellgrounded objections to execution of said public work or to taking of such land or to taking of such easement over land, set forth same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from first publication of this notice, to Minister of Works, Wellington.
