Wednesday, June 22, 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 10 a.m. Friday, June 24, 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 10 a.m. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WINTER SHOW Motor pavilion 2,000 square feet covered with modern cars and the tractors that produce food for England’s hungry millions. Main hall 9,000 square feet covered with milking machines, separators, farm machinery and stalls with countless attractions. Poultry pavilion 1,000 feet where you will find poultry, pigeons and song birds. Many championships have been allotted to this district and competition will be keen. The N.Z. Women’s Institutes will have a number of their attractive Courts, and you will see there many a sound reason why no man should remain a bachelor. The Young Farmers’ Clubs will be competing with Agricultural Courts, and their very fine organisation will give visitors an interesting demonstration of the great advances made in farming with the help and guidance of the Department of Agriculture’s able officers. Every parent on the Coast should visit the School Exhibits, because your boy or girl may have some item in this exhibit that the child will be proud to show you. Both Maori and other schools will be participating. The Side Shows will be more numerous than ever and every space has been sold.
