Bowling Club Social Evenings
As a result of recommendations from the recent annual general meeting a Club Social Committee has been formed by the Whakatane Bowling Club to organise social evenings during the non-playing season. The committee has drawn up the following programme: Commencing on Thursday, June 9, Bridge and Progressive 500 evenings at club pavilion for members, wives and general public. Commencing June 23, Indoor and Carpet Bowls for members only. Thereafter these functions are to be held regularly. •
