Large Crowd Attends Ingleside Dance

There was a gay carnival atmosphere among the large crowd that attended the Ingleside dance at Whakatane on Saturday night. Music was supplied by Harison’s Orchestra and extras were played by Miss D. Stewart and Mr G. Paterson.

An Irish Jig and shean tribhas were danced by Miss Marlene Miller and the highland fling by Miss Nancy Kilgour. There were several novelty dances, the monte carlo being won by Miss M. Hanhan and Mr W. Merritt, Hamilton. Mr W. Abbott was M.C.
