PERSONAL
Mrs A. W. Winstone, Whakatane, secretary of the Eastern Bay of Plenty Red Cross, left on Monday to attend the quarterly meeting of the New Zealand Red Cross executive committee at Wellington.
Regret at the recent death of Mr C. White, an ex-councillor, was expressed by members of the Whakatane County Council yesterday and it was decided to send a letter of condolence to relatives.
