REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES FOR BAY TEAM Five representative matches have been arranged by the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union this year and unfortunately for local Rugby enthusiasts only one game is being played in the Bay. The representative team is to go on tour down the East Coast in mid-July playing three games. The only game in the Bay of Plenty is the match against the Australians and the venue for that meeting has yet to be decided. The representative fixtures are:' — July 16 v East Coast on the East Coast.
July 20 v Wairoa at Wairoa. July 23 v Poverty Bay at Gisborne.
August 6 v Waikato at Cambridge. August 20 v Australia, venue yet to be decided.
