This Cheque Went A-Travelling

A slight misunderstanding between a firm in Botany Road, Alexandria (Sydney), and a customer in Perth (Western Australia), has been cleared up. Last June the firm sent an account to Perth, got no reply, and continued sending a monthly statement. Six months later a letter arrived containing a cheque dated July.
