New Grass For Playing Field

About five to six acres of the playground in front .of the Whakatane District High School, facing Gculstone Road, is now being ploughed and is to be sown'in new grass in preparation for next summer. This is the first move on the part of the school committee in their plans to finally have the playing field more neatly and attractively laid out.
