TE TEKO GOLF CLUB OPENING The Te Teko Golf Club opened the 1949 season last Sunday. Owing , to heavy rain only a few holes were played. Competitions start this Sunday, when the first round of a tworound. Eclectic handicap will be played. Following is the draw:— A. P. Smith v Haultain, Glen v Ranson, Thomas v Nation, Caldwell v Moulden, Craddock v Housham, Burr v L. Hall, Hegh v Mcßride, Loane v Campbell, T. Lyon v Balfour, Macken v Latimer, Goodwin v Johnson, Francis v Sanders, Gardner v Patterson, Jamieson v Mexted, Mita v Cook, Whiteley v Hendl, Wilson v A. R. Hall, C. Weller v A.N. other. *
Players unable to play are to notify their partners, and players will arrange own starting times. Any not included in the draw should ring 16S. Women’s Competition
An Eclectic competition will be held tomorrow and the following Saturday. There will be no draw for these two weeks, but partners will be arranged at the club house.
