"Last Days” Near, Says Evangelist

Last Sunday Mr A. R. Coleman of England, speaking in the Central Theatre, Edgecumbe, took up the subject “The Next Great Event.” He emphasised several pointed indications from the scripture of the •character of the times from when the Lord was on earth to His return in power and glory. He drew a comparison between the moral laxity of the days of Noah and Lot and. present-day conditions, and went on to express the opinion, based on his interpretation of Biblical prophecy, that the stage is even now being set for the solemn and dramatic events to take place in the “last days” before Christ returns to set up His Kingdom.
