Whakatane Rowing Club Entered Five Regattas Last Year
Although there have been more successful seasons in the history of the Whakatane Rowing Club the one just past has been as profitable as any other. Five regattas were attended in which the club had 26 starts. The final placings were one first, one second, six thirds, seven fourths, seven fifths, and one ninth, seventh and tenth. In all these races only one Whakatane crew failed to finish and that was because of a foul.

On Saturday night the club ended the season with a social evening when a very large crowd saw the trophies, which different crews had won during the season, presented. Trophy winners:—
