DEATH NOTICES GREGORY. On May 9 at the Whakatane Hospital, John Edward, Gregory, aged 73 years. The funeral will leave Jarrett and Son’s Commerce Street, tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. for the Whakatane Hill Returned Soldiers’ Cemetery. ' GOLDSMITH. On May 7 at the Whakatane Hospital, William, dearly loved husband of Ellen, and loved father of Claudia (Perth), Ellen (Mrs Marshall, England), Alpha (South Africa), Marjorie (Mrs Frances, Edgecumbe), Nancye (Mrs G. Burt, Matata), and William, Eric and Lionel, and the late Albert and lan. Aged 79 years. . The funeral will leave his late residence today (Monday) at 2 p.m. for the Awakaponga Cemetery.
