Debutante Ball Was A Success
With guests from as far away as , Te Kaha and Te Puke present, the ( annual Maori debutante ball of he . Anglican Church at Whakatane last week was an outstanding success. A large crowd was attracted to * dancing and the fine sit-down supper. Beautifully gowned debutantes were presented to the Right Rev. F. A. Bennett, of Aotearoa, who had come to the district especially to attend the ball.
