WHAT IS A GOOD SCHOOL?

Sir, —-As a listener I was greatly interested to hear Rev R. T. Dodds speak on the above topic at the recent meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association and enjoyed the discussion which followed his final remarks, “What is a good school?” I, too, think a good schcoi is one that does not neglect religious teaching.. Whether or not all would agree one must admit that to maintain a balance in a child’s life, one must eater for his spiritual side as well as for his intellectual and physical. Surely a school that provides adequate food for growth, of these three, provides a balanced education and therefore, to my thinking is a “good school.” Thus our youth would be better fitted for citizenship in later life. Yours etc., “PARENT.”
