Co ming-Of-A ge Party At Thornton
Over 80 guests attended the com-ing-of-age party of Mr Jim Dodunski, Gow’s Road, Edgecumbe, in the Thornton Hall. The evening was spent in cards, dancing and games. Music was supplied by Mesdames Trueman and Weir, piano, Mr Lindsay, accordian, and Mr J. Harris, piano accordian. A monte carlo was won by Misses Avis Cooper and Jean V/ylie; elimination waltz, Miss B. Green and Mr J. Fabish, and the lucky gay gordon, Miss M. Bunn and Mr D. McCorquindale. The toastmaster was Mr H. Quayle.
