Pillion Rider Hurt
Lacerations to the leg necessitating his admittance to the ' Whakatane hospital were suffered by Mr T. Martin, EdgeGumbe, as a result of an accident which occurred on the main highway between Edgeciimbe and Whakatane yesterday. Mr Martin was a passenger on a motor cycle driven by Mr N. Andrews, also of Edgeciimbe, and was the only person injured in the accident, which also involved a ear driven by the Rev. J. H. Starnes, Edgecumbe.
