Annual Meeting Of Te Teko W.D.F.F.
The annual meeting of the Te Teko W.D.F.F. was held in the Domain pavilion recently. After the general business of the meeting had been dealt with the president presented the prizes for the year. Members were unanimous in their support of the 2-day' lecture course in conjunction with the Federated Farmers School Field Day at the end of May. Mrs F. Butler was the winner of the competition and best bloom prizes, also one for perfect attendance Mrs Pryor received a gift for perfect attendance. The president was presented with a spray by Mrs S. Cannell. Mrs Thomas then presented sprays to Mesdames Harty, Burr, Butler, Hutton and Hallett.
Winners‘of competition: Mrs Butler 1, Mrs Pryor 2. Best bloom: Mrs Hallett 1, Mesdames Linsell and Foote equal 2. Mystery parcel: Mrs Foote. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Hutton and Pryor Officers elected: President,' Mrs Harty; ? vice-presidents, Mesdames Burr ano Thomas; secretary, Mrs S. Cannell; committee, Mesdames Butler, Costello, Nation, Hendle and Waldergrave; competition and sales table secretary, Mrs Hallett; birthday and visiting organiser, Mrs Hutton: mystery f parcel organiser, Mrs Butler' (who is also hostess secretary); press correspondent, Mr° Cannell: conference delegate, Mrs Harty; provincial delegates, M: - dames Harty, Burr and Cannell.
