EASTER TOURNAMENT AT EDGECUMBE In the Central Bay of Plenty Hockey Sub-Association’s Easter tour--, nament held at the Edgecumbe Do-f * main, 16 women’s and 15 men’s ) teams competed. In the women’s -J[ section the Easter Cup was won by Edgecumbe and the Civil Senior Cup (men) was won by Edgecumbe Roosters. Results: — Women: Section 1, Te Teko A; Section 2, Poroporo A; Section 3, Edgecumbe, Section 4, Triors Tau- ; ranga. Semi-final, Te Teko 1 v Poroporo 0; Edgecumbe 1 Triers 0. Final, Edgecumbe 1, Te Teko 0. Men: Section 1, Poroporo; Section 2, Triers Tauranga after a playoff with Rangers, 2—l: Section 3, Roosters; Roosters 1, Triers 0. Final, Roosters 2, Poroporo 1, after playing extra time.
Juniors: Girls, Taneatua 4 Edgecumbe 0; boys, Taneatua drew with Edgecumbe, Huimai drew with Taneatua; Edgecumbe boys beat Edgecumbe girls 4—o. .
