Awakeri Y.F.C.

The forming of a Country Girls’ Club was considered at the monthly meeting of the Awakeri Young Farmers’ Club held at Awakeri on a recent evening. Of the local girls invited, ten were present, and an interesting discussion took place. The chairman, Mr B. Mundy, welcomed Mr M. Cooper as a new member. v

A social hour was later spent in dancing and playing table tennis.
