Construction Industry Problems
Measures to stabilise the construction industry are being discussed in the current session of the Building, Civil Engineering and Public Works Committee ,of the International Labour Organisation in Rome.
The committee is considering the application of mass production of housing parts, new techniques and materials, standardisation and modular design, improved collective bargaining methods, the establishment of government public works reserves, long-range planning, labourmanagement co-operation at the site, industry and national levels, and other measures.
