MID-WEEK PLAY ,T , AT OHOPE A very enjoyable was * spent on Mr A. Millar’s green on. Wednesday last by visiting teams from Taneatua, Whakatane . and members of the Ohope Club. Twelve rink teams engaged in a friendly impromptu tournament, which re- ( suited in a strdightout win for a Taneatua team skipped by T. Hunt, with a maximum, of 5 games. The runners-up were R. B. Gerring’s Ohope team with 4 wins and Rivett’s Whakatane four with 31 wins. Teams: Taneatua, Middlemas, Rae, Lawn, Hunt (s); Ohope, Taylor, F. Gerring, Warner, R. B. Gerring (s); Whakatane, W. Rivett, Pepez, J. D. Rivett, Cockerell (s).
