OBSERVANCE OF ANZAC DAY On Monday, 25th April (Anzac Day) the ordinary timetable will be suspended with the exception of the 3.0 p.m. and 7.15 p.m. AucklandWeliington express trains and the Wellington-Auckland express trains due to arrive Auckland 7.0 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. On Tuesday, 26th April, the Auck-land-Rotorua and Rotorua-Auckland express trains will run. WHAKATANE HARBOUR BOARD Tenders will be received at the office of the abovenamed Board for the construction of a roadway across an existing stopbank and a stone groyne at the River Island up to noon on Tuesday, April 12, 1949.
