Queen Salote, of Tonga, who is staying at Rotorua, paid a visit. to Whakatane on Saturday, accompanied by some of her retinue.
Mr and Mrs John Collier, Mr Robert Collier and Mrs Joseph Edwards, have returned to Kutarere from a brief visit to Rangitukia, East. Coast.
Mrs M. Savage, Waimana, accompanied by her sister, Mrs M. Smalley, Glenbrook, Waiuku, returned last week by air from a five weeks tour of Australia.
