Tiles Enough For Five State Houses
Tiles have arrived for roofing of the houses in the new State house block in Stewart Street, Whakatane, and work on them will commence as soon as tilers can be brought to the town to do the work. Five houses are ready to be roofed now and as there are tiles enough for five it should not be long before they are ready to hand over to the plumbers, painters, electricians and so forth. Always provided, the expected tilers do arrive next week.
