Director Of The Nursing Division Visits Whakatane

Paying her last official visit to Whakatane before she retires, the director of the nursing division of the Department of Health, Miss M. Lambie, 0.8. E., arrived at Whakatane on Wednesday afternoon and left early this morning. On Wednesday night Miss Lambie was entertained at a social evening by the Bay of Plenty Registered Nurses’ Association, at the home of Mrs F. Prideaux, Whakatane, where she spoke of her nursing work since she started in 1910 and her experiences while on visits to other countries.

Yesterday Miss Lambie inspected the Whakatane hospital.
