OVER £2OO NOW IN KEHOE FUND: CLOSES TOMORROW
There is already over £2OO in
the fund! for the benefit of the
widow of the late Traffic Officer , John Kehoe, but there will possibly be further donations before the list officially closses to- ; morrow evening.
There was splendid spontaneous response to the suggestion of a local citizen immediately following the tragedy that something of the sort should be started. He backed his own idea with an anonymous donation of £2O, and the fund built to over £IOO in a few weeks with almost daily donations from all parts of the district and all types of people—a warm tribute to the memory of a man who did his job conscientiously and well. This was the position yesterday:
