Tuesday Night’s Sports

Though the season is now well advanced, there is still evidence of growing interest in athletics at Whakatane. Tuesday evening’s practice meeting attracted bigger entries than has been the case for some time, and it was particularly pleasing to see a number of girls turning out. With better track facilities in the future the Club promises to become firmly established, and it has ample talent to develop. Tuesday’s results:—
