N.Z.’s Contribution
A sum of £3OO has been granted by the Red Cross for urgent medical supplies to be sent to assist in improving the appalling conditions, which are now said to exist in the Middle East, was made at a meeting of the executive in Wellington last week. An appeal has been made by U.N.O. for the Red Cross Societies throughout the world to assist these suffering people. The £3OO is just the beginning New Zealand’s contribution.
