Thimble Motors Electric motors, so small that two of them can be held in a thimble, have been l manufactured in England, and are expected to revolutionise many industries ranging from toy-making to electric razors. They employ an electro-magnetic principle hitherto unknown in motor design. Praise For N.Z. Press A tribute to the New Zealand press was paid by the Empire Chief Scout, Lord Rowallan, upon his return to Auckland after touring New Zealand. He said that wherever be had been, his interviews and addresses had been faithfully and accurately reported. There had not been a single instance anywhere in New Zealand of his remarks having been misreported, and not a single slip. He Had Witnesses! Mr W. Jeffery, president of a Northamptonshire angling club, told this story to end all fishing stories. He caught a pike, weighing 61b and measuring 22 inches, in a local lake. When he cut off its head he found another pike inside it, about a foot, long and weighing a pound. He placed the smaller fish in a bath of water and it swam around. Mr Jeffery says _he has two witnesses.
