Wainui Y.F.C.

There was an excellent attendance of members at the Wainui Young Farmers’ Club’s first annual meeting. Mr J. Barr, district chairman, Mr J. Hawkins, vice-'chaii’man, and Mr _ E. R. Marryatt, district secretary, were also present. After welcoming the visitors to the meeting the club chairman read his report on the club’s activities and progress during, the last six months. All three visitors briefly addressed the. meeting arid were unanimous in their praise for the way in which the club was conducted. They congratulated the club on its rapid growth,. Mr Marryatt stating that its progress was greater than any club he had known. Three new members were enrolled.

Officer-: elected- Chairman, Mr M Burke; vice-chairman, Mr B. Crawford; secretary, Mr R. Sax; treasurer, Mr D. Herdman; reporter, Mr C. Burke; auditor, Mr C. Price; senior advisory member, Mr J. Sax; advisory members, Messrs J. Walworth and A. Bradshaw.
