Grass Seed Could Be Exported Easily

Grass seed could become a very important New Zealand export, farmers were told at Edgecumbe on Thursday night by Mr W. N. Perry, Dominion President of Federated Farmers. Recently an American professor had said in Canterbury that this country could send 10,000,000 dollars worth of grass seed to the United States easily. Mr Perry considered that production of seed should bg increased and new markets found. Russia and Australia were also interested.
