Offal Thing To Do!

A letter is to be sent by the Whakatane Chamber of Commerce to the Health Inspector complaining about the alleged dumping of truck loads of fish offal and other rubbish over the wharf at Whakatane. At the last general meeting of the Chamber a number of members spoke heatedly and disgustedly of the lack of public spirit of the persons responsible, and it was decided to urge the authorities to seek them out and prosecute.
