Sharemilkers Form Rangitaiki Branch

A decision to form the Rangitaiki Branch of Sharemilkers’ Sub-sec-tion of the Federated Farmers of New Zealand, was reached at a recent meeting of sharemilkers, at Edgecumbe. A committee was formed with Mr G. E. Jones being elected chairman, and Mr H. McCracken, secretary. It is hoped that with the forming of the branch some agreement may soon be reached in the differences between the farmers and sharemilkers. The branch is distinct from the Sharemilkers’ Union, which is linked to the Workers’ Union.
