Caustic Soda For Chinese Dish
Caustic soda prescribed in a radio recipe for Chinese noodles caused a widespread outbreak of severe illness in Tokio recently. The announcer conducting a Tokio station’s “kitchen hour” listed caustic soda instead of ordinary soda. In future, Tokio health officers will check all recipes.
