BAY OF PLENTY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD URGENT NOTICE TO CONSUMERS The consumption of power in the Board’s Area MUST be reduced bv 7 per cent to keep within the prescribed quota. Such reduction can be achieved by every domestic and industrial consumer exercising strict economv in the use of electricity for all purposes. In making this appeal to consumers the Board requests the fullest co-operation in the voluntary restriction of individual consumption to avoid the inconvenience of arbitrary power cuts which will be applied as an alternative. .
