Colonel Who Knits
One of the latest presents to arrive at Buckingham Palace for the Royal baby is a dainty turquoiseblue jumper, knitted by Colonel John Harrison, former exclusive Horse Guards officer and now' a Home Guards commander. The colonel who has eight daughters, said: “I’ve knitted all my own socks for years. Took up knitting when arthritis made me give up polo.”
