Hospital Cleaning Equipment Needed
For some time now the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board has been seeking rp'ore modern means of cleaning the carpets and floors of the institution and considerable investigation has been carried out culminating in a report by Mrs D. E. Sumner, member of the sub-com-mittee, to yesterday’s meeting of the Hospital Board. • Best machines she could locate, she said, were twb American ones —a scrubber-polisher and an outsize vacuum cleaner used at the Rotorua Hospital. She said it seemed fairly certain that it would not be possible to import such machines ,but the Board decided to approach the agents. Failing being able to import the special equipment, the Board' will consider ordinary vacuum cleaners.
