Young Jockey’s Win
Jack Rust Jr. (“Rusty” to hk friends) gained his first straight-out win last Saturday at the Wanganui race meeting, riding War Admiral. “Rusty,” a son of Mr and Mrs J. Rust, Awakeri," is an apprentice jockey at Mainall’s Stables, Hawera. He had previously scored seconds and thirds on several occasions.
