Child Dies After Drinking Petrol
Brian Takurua, 5-year-old son of Mr and Mrs J. Takurua, Ruatoki, died at the Whakatane District Hospital on Wednesday after drinking a quantity of petrol. The boy was rushed to hospital by his pai-ents, but it was too late for effective treatment.
