Elizabeth Near The Prince
To Elizabeth Taylor has fallen the honour of holding the food ration card that is numbered directly ahead of that issrjed to England’s new Prince. When the actress, now in England appearing opposite Robert Taylor in M.G.M.’s “The Conspirator” reported to the London Food Office to obtain the card which all visitors must have after 28 days in order to eat, she found Mrs Mary Feakes, director o fthe office leaving for Buckingham Palace where she was +o register the month old son of Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh. Thus, in. the official food ration records the names of Elizabeth Taylor and the Royal Prince are now listed side by side.
