4000 More State Houses
Four thousand State houses would be built this year, said the Commissioner of State Forests, iMr Skinner. Mr Skinner said there was need to persuade builders to take contracts available in any part of New Zealand. In certain districts the only State houses being built were the work of rehabilitation trade trainees.
