British Farm Houses
Mr Tom Williams, British Minister of Agriculture, said ■' recently that farm workers were moving into newly-built houses at the rate of 1000 a month. Well over 50,000 houses had been built in rural areas since the war and over 30,000 were building, Mr Williams said. There were more than 120,000 more than there were before the war.
