Crews For Hamilton Regatta The following crews will* represent the Whakatane Rowing Club at the Hamilton regatta on Saturday:— Juniors: L. Carey, E. Hunt, G. Dines, G. Moore. This crew is expected to do well and to add to its record of eight placings in eight starts. Open Maidens: L. Stewart, G. Goodall, W. Stuart, R. King. This crew should, if they strike a reasonable position at the start, perform well. Lightweights: P. Bowering, C. Ranby, G. Drayson, T. Stewart. These boys' have been training very consistently, are roving quite well and are expected to be up near the leaders at the finish. Youths’ No. 1: P. Armstrong, S. Shapley, M. Whittaker, W. Sandham. , This is a well balanced crew and with any luck should perform quite well. Youths’ No. 2: M. Brown, K. Dines, D. McCarthy, K. O’Rourke. A very young crew, picked rather late, who have not been able to get quite enough training yet. Coxwains for Hamilton are R. and T. Reid.
