Scouts To Meet Lord Rowallan

The chief scout of the British Commonwealth and Empire, Lord Rowallan, who arrived at Auckland on Tuesday is to be tendered a welcome rally by all Bay of Plenty scouts, including Whakatane, at Rotorua. Lord Rowallan is due to visit Rotorua next Tuesday and the Bay of Plenty scouts are combining with Rotorua to welcome and meet him. It is hoped that all scouts that can possibly do so will meet at Rotorua. On his way home from the Melbourne Jamboree, Lord Rowallan has taken this opportunity to visit New Zealand to meet as many scouts as possible within the limited time he has here.
