Arthur Rank organisation to withdraw the trailer of the Hollywood film “The Spiritualist.” The trailer asks, “Are all spiritualists fakes?” ‘ and announces that the film will show how every trick is done in “the greatest racket the world has ever known.” The spiritualists say they know some mediums are fakes, but the trailer gives grave offence “to the sincere religious convictions of hundreds of thousands of spiritualists.’* It is, they say, insulting.
