Quizmaster Was Not Right
An exasperated Australian headmaster wants to know whether radio stations can’t do something to •stop inaccurate “official” answers to --quiz sessions. He points out that a “quizmaster” said that Sturt discovered'the Murray. Next morning the headmaster went into a classroom and asked: “Who discovered -the Murray?” Nearly all the class -said “Sturt,” and quoted the quiz show. In fact, Hume and Hovell discovered the Murray in 1824.
