Horse’s Moving Ears
Royale Childe, famous in Australian racing circles, fascinates trotting followers with his “silly ears.” When racing at top speed, Royale right ear keeping time with his off hoofbeats—his left ear moving forward with his near leg and his right ear beeping time with his off leg. He made the fastest time of the night at the Melbourne Showgro*ind recently.
