Large Crowd Attends Choral Concert
A large crowd attended the concert of Christmas music presented by Whakatane Combined Church choirs last Wednesday. The choir •singing was interspersed by organ •solos and group singing. The artists were:—
Combined choir: Sopranos, Misses E. Fife, L. Garaway, E. Grose, B. Hooper, F. Windley. Mesdames 'Comer, Garaway, James, Davie, Smith, Teasdale, Watts, Climo and .Albiston; contraltos, Misses R. Garaway, Beaney, H. White, D. Stewart, Mesdames Doddsfi Cole and Rugg; tenors, Messrs C. Aitken, G. E. Jone sand R. Tong; basses, Dr. A. W. F. Cole, Messrs B. Drube, Davie, Hi D. Paterson and G. Paterson. Organist: Dr. E. T. Dawson. Pianist: Mr R. Mollgaard. Conductor: Mr F. L. Watson.
